How a jet ski outing unfolds in Monaco
How a session unfolds
Pick-up is free from Port Hercule or your beach hotel pontoon in Monaco. An MC Watersports boat takes you to our water sports base in minutes: already a first moment at sea.
At the base, the instructor welcomes you, checks your ID and runs a full briefing: jet ski operation, safety rules, communication signals at sea. The kit (life jacket) is provided.
You then take the handlebars of your jet ski, solo or with a passenger, and the instructor leads the way. The route alternates between faster open-sea legs and slower passages along the coast to take in the scenery. On a tour, a complimentary snack is served during the swim stop in a cove.
On return, the team brings you back by boat to your departure point in Monaco.
Why choose MC Watersports for jet skiing
No licence required, supervised by a certified instructor
No boating licence is needed for our jet ski outings. Every session and tour is supervised by a State-certified instructor who leads the way, manages group pace and adapts to your level. If you’re two on a jet ski, you can switch roles during the outing.
Free pick-up and complimentary snack on tours
We pick you up by boat at Port Hercule or your hotel pontoon (Monte-Carlo Bay, Méridien Beach Plaza, Monte-Carlo Beach). No taxi, no transfer. On tours, a snack is served during the swim stop in a cove only reachable by sea.
2 to 5 jet skis per outing
Our outings host 2 to 5 jet skis, no more. Enough to ride as a group (friends, couple, family), small enough for the instructor to look after each rider. In high season, book ahead to secure your slot.
Certified instructor, snack in a cove, pick-up included: all that’s missing is you.

FAQ — Jet Ski in Monaco
Do I need a licence to jet ski in Monaco?
No, no boating licence is required. In France and Monaco, jet skiing is allowed without a licence provided you are supervised by a State-certified instructor. That is the case for all our outings, sessions and tours alike. The rider must be at least 16 years old and present an ID.
How much does jet skiing in Monaco cost?
Pricing depends on the format. For guided tours (1h or 1h30), check our booking page for current prices. For short sessions (20 or 30 minutes), rates are on request: contact us. Activity packs with other sports are available at -20%.
What is the minimum age for jet skiing?
You must be 16 to take the handlebars, with an adult in the group. Younger riders can join as passengers from age 5-6, under an adult’s responsibility on the same jet ski.
What's the difference between a session and a tour?
Sessions (20 or 30 min) take place in Monaco bay. You ride freely under the instructor’s eye, with no fixed route. Tours (1h or 1h30) are guided excursions along the coast, with a defined itinerary, a complimentary snack and a swim stop in a cove. Both formats are licence-free.
Can two people share one jet ski?
Yes, at no extra cost. You can ride two-up and swap rider and passenger roles during the outing. If the passenger wants to ride in turn, they need to show ID (age 16 minimum).
Do you offer short 20 or 30 minute sessions?
Yes. 20 and 30-minute sessions run in Monaco bay, supervised by an instructor. They are not bookable online. For pricing and available slots, contact us directly.
What should I bring for a jet ski outing?
A swimsuit, a towel and an ID (or passport). The life jacket is provided. You can wear sunglasses, at your own risk. A retainer strap is strongly recommended.
